Deuteronomy 28:44-46

New Life Version

⁴⁴ He will give to you. But you will not give to him. He will be the head and you will be the tail. ⁴⁵ All these curses will come upon you. They will follow you and come upon you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping all the Laws He gave you. ⁴⁶ They will be something special to see, and a powerful work upon you and your children forever.
